Light a Candle
Tracy J. Landry, age 50, passed away suddenly at home on September 18, 2021. Tracy was born on April 20, 1971, in New Iberia, Louisiana to the late Lloyd Landry and Linda Doyle Landry. He was one of two children. He attended Magnolia Elementary School and graduated from New Iberia Senior High School in 1989. He later met the love of his life Amy Heim. They were married 20 years ago on April 14, 2001. Tracy was a devoted husband and father. He was proud of his two boys and their accomplishments. He was always willing to go out of his way to help friends and family in need. Tracy enjoyed traveling with his family. He liked to spend time fishing, camping and gardening. He had quite the green thumb and loved his collection of hibiscus plants. He was also a member of the Space City Hibiscus Society. Those left behind to cherish Tracy’s memory include his wife of 20 years, Amy Landry; his two children, Brennan J. Landry, and Tyler B. Landry; his brother Kenneth P. Landry (Cheryl); his nephew Daniel Nickson and niece Hannah Landry, along with numerous extended family and friends. Tracy was preceded in death by his parents.
